ST. LOUIS – Energizer Park will be cracking Tuesday night as the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team takes the pitch against the Jamaican national team, the Reggae Girlz.

The USWNT is 4-2 in international competition this year and coming off a 3-0 victory against China on May 31 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The U.S. was originally slated to play a second match against China in St. Louis, but the Chinese Football Association said the women’s team could only play the first match.

This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the U.S. and Jamaican women’s teams, and first match since the 2022 CONCACAF W Gold Cup, when the USWNT routed the Reggae Girlz, 5-0.

The women’s team has three more friendlies scheduled this summer: June 26 and June 29 against Ireland, and against Canada on July 2.

Long-time women’s national team stalwart and St. Louis native Becky Sauerbrunn will be honored before the match. Sauerbrunn, who retired from active competition in December 2024, made 219 appearances for the national team, good for tenth all-time.

The former U.S. captain was part of squads that won the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015 and 2019; the CONCACAF Women’s Championship in 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022; the 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup; a gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics and a bronze in the 2020 Summer Games. Following the pre-match festivities, Sauerbrunn will head up to the commentary booth, where she’ll be part of the TNT broadcast team.

Gates at Energizer Park will open at 5:30 p.m., with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be available on TNT, HBO Max, Universo & Peacock in Spanish, and on the radio via Westwood One Sports.
