ST. LOUIS – Rain is to our west this Thursday morning and will build eastward, bringing showers to the St. Louis region after 9 a.m.
Rain will be light to sometimes moderate in intensity and will linger through the afternoon and evening. The wet weather will make temperatures cooler Thursday, with highs near 70 F.
Evening showers exit east overnight, but some wrap-around spotty showers will be possible Friday just after sunrise. Wake-up temperatures in the 50s. Skies clear Friday afternoon, with high temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s.
The weekend looks dry and much warmer, with highs in the mid-80s for Saturday and Sunday. The temperatures will be in the upper 80s early next week, close to the 90 F mark we have yet to hit officially this calendar year in St. Louis. Next rain chance looks to be Tuesday afternoon, night, and into Wednesday.
