The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, was playing Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ Puff slot machine with $7.50 bets when they landed multiple matching symbols to trigger the jackpot.
Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles is undergoing a major expansion, with plans to triple its convention space by adding over 40,000 square feet of meeting facilities. The Boyd Gaming property is also modernizing its 397 hotel rooms and updating its dining options. The renovations are expected to be completed by mid-2025.
