ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police are investigating a pre-dawn robbery in the city’s St. Louis Place neighborhood.
According to spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery happened before 4:45 a.m. in the 2700 block of Rauschenbach Avenue, along St. Louis Place Park.
Police said a 29-year-old woman was walking into a building when two men—both armed with rifles—approached her from behind. They demanded the victim’s purse, and she complied. The suspects fled in a dark-colored SUV.
Police said the victim knows one of the suspects.
