With the threat of inclement weather looming over the St. Louis area, many cities in the region are rescheduling their Fourth of July celebrations.

Washington, Mo.

The American Legion fireworks show is rescheduled for Friday, July 5th. The schedule for the event is listed below:

6 p.m.: Food and drinks will be available for sale, the kids zone will open, and the 4th Street Band will perform

9:25 p.m.: Presenting of the Colors presentation will begin and the National Anthem will be performed

9:30 p.m.: Fireworks will begin


Cottleville residents demand answers amid canceled planning meetings

Webster Groves, Mo.

In case of inclement weather, the City of Webster Groves has developed a protocol.

Parade: The first judgement call will be at 8 a.m. The second judgement call will be at 10 a.m. to delay the start or cancel the parade. The delay will not exceed 11:30 a.m.

Fireworks Show: The judgement call will be made between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The decision will be made to proceed with the fireworks show or cancel the event. If canceled, the show will be postponed to a later date.

Several rounds of rain and storms are expected through the Fourth of July, and upcoming weather conditions could lead to more fireworks shows being postponed. FOX 2 will update this list as more information becomes available.
