ST. LOUIS – Today, the Saint Louis Zoo has unveiled the Wild Explorer virtual reality theater. This innovative theater offers a 360-degree view of animal habitats from around the world through virtual reality.

The theater provides an immersive experience where visitors can sit in individual pods that move, allowing them to feel the vibrations of a wilderbeast herd or the footsteps of a silverback gorilla in the rainforest.

Located adjacent to the Ice Cream Oasis and across from the Sea Lion Sound arena, the new theater enhances the zoo’s interactive offerings.
