Severe weather causes power outages in Missouri, Illinois

MISSOURI & ILLINOIS - Over 100,000 people in Missouri are experiencing power outages following severe weather on Friday, according to Ameren. Ameren Illinois reported that about 27,000 customers are without service. The severe weather included extreme winds, hail, and possible tornadoes, which swept through the Missouri region, causing significant disruptions.
